Winning Collaborations Denmark

The Ringkøbing-Skjern Erhvervsråd (Business Council), located on the west coast in Denmark, engaged Rodin Genoff & Associates to drive its Winning Collaborations project. Its aim was to strengthen regional industry clusters and use Rodin’s company’s collaboration and business development partnership tools; to support companies to:

  • Establish new joint ventures;

  • Diversify into new national and international markets; and

  • Design and activate collaborative platforms that support research and development and the creation of new products and services.

For example, Winning Collaborations has “resulted in new markets [for my company] in Denmark, Austria and Germany”, says Henrik Jeppesen, Managing Director, of engineering and original equipment manufacturer, FIBO Intercon.

Commencing in March 2016, the underlying success of this 12-month project led to the Ringkøbing-Skjern Erhvervsråd extending the project to November 2018. This allowed the Council’s business consultants to continue working on the ground with Rodin and his Danish-based Principal, Frans Bjørn-Thygesen.

The following project summary is divided into three parts.

  • Overview of what some of the companies had to say about working on the project and the results they achieved.

  • Snapshot of what Ringkøbing-Skjern Erhvervsråd’s business consultants learned from working on the project and using the tools and methodologies developed by Rodin Genoff & Associates.

  • Summary of key project results.
