Constructing Swedish Sovereignty
by Rodin Genoff with Graeme Sheather (2023)
CONSTRUCTING SWEDISH SOVEREIGNTY How North Middle Sweden’s Bioeconomy is Constructing the Jobs and Companies of the Future, was launched at the Swedish Parliament in October 2023.
“Constructing Swedish Sovereignty is a highly engaging book that puts you, the reader, in the front row of how the North Middle Sweden Bioeconomy Ecosystem Mapping Project created three Swedish firsts,” says Kjell Grundström, Chairman, Sparbanksstiftelsen, Dalarna, Sweden.
“Without this project, we would not have formed the collaboration with Mondo Arkitekter and Structor Byggteknik to design and build Villa Zero, Sweden’s first certified carbon neutral house,” says Gunnar Jönsson, CEO of Fiskarhedenvillan, Sweden’s second largest home building company.
Constructing Swedish Sovereignty demonstrates how Rodin Genoff is able to create a high trust and highly interconnected and collaborative industrial ecosystem that is integral to building successful new economies.
“Through this project, we created Women Building Sweden, a women’s business network for the construction industry, to support, design and build green projects,” say Kristina Hansen, CEO of Structor Byggteknik, and Gabriella Hagman, CEO of Mondo Arkitekter, co- founders of Women Building Sweden.
Turnarounds: Seizing new opportunities
Published by Caxton Business & Legal, Inc. for Lloyds Bank London (2022)
This book examines how to turn a business around from a crisis, whether it’s one caused by internal factors or external events such as the pandemic. This is an enormous challenge. But, as many businesses have found, it’s also an opportunity to pivot, learn and grow. This book brings together expertise on business turnarounds from a range of contributors including Lloyds Bank, The Institute for Turnaround (IFT), and Pottinger.
Turnarounds include the chapter Thriving in the New Economy, by Rodin Genoff and Narelle Hooper.
“What we are seeing is an existential tussle between ‘business as usual’ – which we now see as an ‘old economy’ way of doing things – and the ‘new economy,” explain Genoff and Hooper. Read how the world of Industry 4.0, circular economy, gender balanced teams and diversity define the new economy, and create thriving businesses and economies.

New Women, New Men, New Economy
by Narelle Hooper and Rodin Genoff with Susan Pettifer (Federation Press, 2015, Reprinted 2016)
“This is an important book that is triggering important corporate conversations. The digital economy is upon us, and without equity and diversity of gender, ethnicity and age, organisations will struggle to compete on the global stage. Richly populated with statistics, diverse international insights, and current case studies, New Women New Men New Economy is required reading for successful modern management.”
- Beverley Head, Business and Technology Journalist
“I think the book is terrific and I hope that the messages that are conveyed in it reach a wide audience.”
- David Morrison, former Chief of Army and Australian of the Year, 2016
“I love the smell of optimism in the morning. With compelling case studies Narelle and Rodin ardently make the case that the future’s looking bright for businesses willing to take up the challenge of diversity in their people.”
- Craig Kirchner, Abbey’s Bookshop
